About Us

We are involved with the engineering of electrical components for numerous experiments. One set of CAE tools we use is provided by Cadence. The following is a list of some of the experiments and the Cadence tool that was used in each experiment.

LSST (academic research)

The LSST or, Large Synoptic Survey Telescope is an 8-meter class optical telescope to be used for research in cosmology. Specifically, it will be used to map out intergalactic dark matter and will probe dark energy and the acceleration of the universe. The Harvard Electronics group is heavily involved in development of electronics for the 3.2 Giga pixel LSST camera, the most ambitious such program currently under development. Cadence tools will be used extensively in this research development.

NOvA (academic research)

NOvA is a long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment currently under development. Harvard University is responsible for the Front End Electronics for that detector and Cadence tools will be used extensively in that work.
